Explorers (3 Years - 1st Grade)
Overview
Explorers Campers enjoy a full day of camp from 9am - 4pm daily.
Our youngest campers travel with their Head Counselors and assigned teams of assistants throughout the day. Camper groups move together from activity to activity to help foster safety and continuity. Due to a carefully maintained 5-to-1 camper to counselor ratio, each camper receives the individual attention he/she needs to succeed within the group and have a truly memorable camp experience.
Typical Day
Days at LINX Camps are typically spent laughing and learning with friends! Explorers Camp includes four traditional camp activity periods, a lunch period, and a swim period (including Red Cross Certified swim instruction). Explorers Campers have the opportunity to interact with other camp friends during junior opening and closing ceremonies, and lunch.
Sessions are packed with arts and crafts, sports, games, team building, and more. Every day is unique as campers rotate from activity to activity to develop skills through non-competitive play. Choose multiple sessions to help with continuity and social development!

Sign Up for Pre-Camp
We offer Pre-Camp for our youngest campers the weeks of June 3rd and June 10th, preceding our official start to camp season. Please note that during these weeks, we only offer half day camp for children ages 3 through 1st grade. Also, please note that swimming is not included as part of the pre-camp program.
Mix It Up!
Many campers choose Explorers Camp for multiple sessions. Fun Bunch is the Half Day option for this age group.
Minors (K - 1st Grade) may compliment general camp with a week in another program - take a look at LINX Specialty Camps and LINX Sports Camps.
