LINX Summer Camps - Swimming
LINX Camps offer a superior swim program led by Red Cross Certified Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors. All campers swim daily. Individual skill assessments take place at the start of each session and campers are divided into groups based on their skill level.
LESSONS AND FREE SWIM:
LINX Camps give campers a 60-minute swim period each day. The first half of the swim period is reserved for lessons and the remaining time is reserved for free swim. The LINX fun-based learning philosophy helps campers have a blast while they play swim games and develop their comfort and skills all the way through American Red Cross Swim Level 6.
Red Cross Instructors:
teach each child to advance to the next level throughout the summer. Through the use of the LINX fun-based learning philosophy, campers have a blast playing swim games while developing their comfort and skills all the way through American Red Cross Swim Level 6.
MASS HORT ELM BANK CAMPUS:
With 8 above ground heated training pools, each camper has the chance to enjoy swimming in an appropriately sized pool designed for teaching and free swim. Counselors remain in the water with our youngest campers (3yrs - 6yrs) throughout their swim period. The Oasis is complete with changing rooms and a SprayZone for summer fun!
DANA HALL CAMPUS:
Our Senior campers enjoy their daily swim in the 6,500 square foot Aquatics Center at Dana Hall. The center features a 25-yard, six-lane pool for recreational and competitive swimming. Locker rooms are available for camper belongings.

YOUNGER CAMPERS:
POOLS YOU CAN STAND IN!!! LINX offers shallow depth pools that enable campers to stand comfortably while receiving swim instruction and during free swim. While our staff is certified and trained to work with all swim levels, they are truly gifted when it comes to the Fun Bunchers and the Explorers (3 - 6 year olds). Their nurturing approach is comforting to children as the campers are encouraged to participate and play. Practicing and teaching water safety is the top priority at all times. We maintain one swim instructor for every five swimmers, and have the group counselors in the water to help maintain an even greater level of supervision. During free swim, the water safety staff remains in the water with the campers!AFTER CAMP EXTRA LESSONS
Campers who are registered for the Extended Day Program automatically receive an extra 60 minutes of swim. Parents may choose to add an extra 30 minutes of swim lessons each day.
