OPTION 1: Take The Bus
LINX Camps have used Local Motion of Boston since it opened. Campers get picked up and dropped off at the bus stops of your choosing. If you have multiple campers attending both Dana Hall and Mass Hort Elm Bank... no worries! The bus stops at both locations each day!
OPTION 2: Take The Shuttle
Parents can drop-off and pick-up at either Dana Hall or Mass Hort Elm Bank in the morning. The campers who have to travel to the other campus board the LINX Shuttle. Our staff make it easy and are with the campers every step of the way! Campers who need to use the LINX Shuttle must arrive at camp between 8:30 and 8:40. You pick your drop spot, the staff and shuttle do the rest!
Shuttles follow the following schedule:
- Depart Mass Hort Elm Bank: 8:45, 9:45, 10:45, 11:45, 12:45, 1:45, 2:45
- Depart Dana Hall: 8:45, 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 1:15, 2:15
OPTION 3: Take Your Car
Parents have the option to drive their campers to camp (typically reserved by our youngest campers). Vehicles are permitted on the camp grounds of both locations starting at 8:45. If you have campers attending both locations you may arrive at 8:30 at the first location of your choosing.
Supervision: LINX Camps hire and train one of their counselors to serve as a Bus Captain on each bus. The Bus Captain greets the families at each stop, take attendance, monitor behavior and make the ride an extension of the camp day by incorporating games and spirit challenges throughout the ride. At drop-off, the Bus Captain maintains very accurate records and ensures that each child is delivered to their designated stop to the adult you have authorized to pick up your child.
Length of ride: Bus rides range from 10 minutes to 45 minutes depending on point of pick up.
Available* from these select towns: Brookline, Chestnut Hill, Dedham, Dover, Natick, Needham, Newton, Sherborn, Sudbury, Wayland, Wellesley, Weston, Westwood
Transportation Fees: Only $50/week*
Securing Transportation: After registration has been processed you will receive a Transportation Request Form to complete and submit. Carpool sharing opportunities will also be made available at that time.
Early Drop-Off: Available at both locations
Extended Day: All extended day campers are located at the Mass Hort Elm Bank Campus. If campers are at the Dana Hall Campus they take the LINX Shuttle to the Mass Hort Elm Bank Campus.
